Thinking of your future
ACI-systems GmbH not only gives companies comprehensive advice on the planning and implementation of sales and marketing measures related to innovative CO2 cleaning technology, it also supplies the necessary machines and equipment.
With over 10 years of experience in CO2 snow-jet cleaning, in 2015 we extended our services to include dry-ice blasting.
Whether it's a product or concept you're looking for, our top priority is always to provide you with a well-designed sustainable solution.
Why do we recommend dry-ice blasting?
Environmentally friendly and free of chemicals
As opposed to most common methods for cleaning and preparing surfaces, dry-ice blasting is an environmentally friendly, labour-saving alternative with low equipment requirements.
Suitable for almost any application
What is dry-ice blasting?
Dry-ice blasting is a process which uses dry ice pellets at temperatures as low as -79°C. The dry-ice cleaning step leaves no CO2 residues that would need subsequent removal. Various physical effects ensure the effective removal of dirt, coats of paint, etc.
Dry-ice pellets are accelerated to the speed of sound, causing them to detach any dirt adhering to the surface as they impact
The temperature of the dry-ice causes cracks to form on the surface of the contamination
As they penetrate the contamination, their physical state changes from a solid to a gaseous state. This 700-fold increase in volume 'rinses-off' the contamination in a controlled manner
The detached, 'blasted-off' contamination is all that remains, which can then be removed
